Computational Design, Analysis and Optimisation for
Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA)
Objectives
-
To raise awareness and built competency in using Computational Design with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) innovatively through computational analysis and optimization for Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA)
Theme
-
A concept design for an educational building in BCA Academy done innovatively through engaging computational design, analysis and optimization with DfMA approach, satisfying sustainability, constructability and productivity considerations.
Target Participants
-
Open to all full-time local and international students from tertiary institutions in their respective countries
Team Composition
-
Recommend minimum 3 members and maximum up to 7 members per team
-
Team members need not come from the same institute
Schedule

Registration is open till 30 June 2017

Early registered participants will be informed for training sessions

One submission date on

10 July 2017, 12pm Singapore Time

Shortlisted participants will be notified by 14 July 2017

Final Presentation for shortlisted participants on 28 July 2017

Result Finalized on 4 August 2017

Prize presentation in October 2017 during Singapore Construction Productivity Week (SCPW)
